Bought these to use for chocolate. I ended up cutting them apart to reduce breakage. If you use fondant or gum paste should be perfect. The quality is great, detail is exquisite, easy to clean and great price. Works just as intended. Was hard to cut so really durable.

I like the fact that you get 4 in a pack. However I needed these for use with melting chocolate and when I tried to remove the set chocolate, the release was terrible. Each butterfly snapped in half. I tried multiple times and each time they broke. Oddly enough the most durable one was the smallest butterfly on the mold. I managed to get two intact pieces. They aren’t very deep at all. They’re super easy to clean. The detail in them makes for a beautiful butterfly concept. Wouldn’t recommend for chocolate but maybe you’ll have better luck. Would definitely recommend for resin use though.

This is a great butterfly mold if you are looking for a really detailed mold. It looks like a real butterfly.

If youre using this for chocolate like I did you need to be extra careful so not to break the chocolate when unmolding, you need to be extra gentle i find it easier to make one at a time buy other than that it worked really good !

Good product. Used with moderate ease...the butterflies are small and delicate but the finished product is beautiful. I used these molds with Fondant to decorate my daughters birthday cake and cupcakes. All the kids loved them.

First off, this mold is TINY! It is an incredibly detailed mold, but for its small size, the details make it impossible to use for candy. After multiple attempts, I used the least broken dragon that I was able to mold with melting chocolate to put on my son’s cake. For reference, it is a 9in diameter cake in the picture.I haven’t tried for anything other than candy but may work for something that cools to a more hardy material.
