Bought once and they worked ok, second round the sewing busted on first tree. Destroyed 3 of the 4 bags in one day.

The steel ring is not welded and thin gauge so if the weight gets a little stuck the line just pulls the ring apart and the throw weight stays in the tree. It works fine as an additional weight if needing to isolate the throw line though some limbs. Cannot recommend.

Gave only one star because I can't give less.Used the bag while training students to slingshot a line over a cable. After less than 5 times, ALL bags seams split, inner bags holding the shot split. Quality is worse than poor. The bags hitting the ground caused the bags to split. POS!

Bought 4 and they all fell apart first time using them.On one the strap that held the ring came right off. With the other 3 the seams opened up and everything came out.

I hit a branch the bag came un-stiched. It maybe good for home owners but not for real work. The bags are too big for the weight. Too easy to get stuck in the tree.

I bought this for use with the Notch Big Shot arborist's slingshot. 14oz is a good weight for use with the slingshot to punch through denser tree canopies, but it's a bit heavy for hand throwing or getting the most height out of the slingshot. Unfortunately, these bags have very flimsy stitching along the sides and consistently split open after a single impact from a 60' height. Even if you only hand throw these bags(and I would recommend a 8 to 12 oz for hand throwing), I would be shocked if it made it more than 20 throws.Aside from this critical flaw, these are fairly well made. The attachment ring is sturdy and well attached, it is bright and easy to spot, the fabric itself is tough, and the weight is clearly printed. It is quite soft and flexible, if it was to strike someone they would likely be miffed but unharmed. I suspect a larger fabric pouch with more room for the weight to spread out upon impact with the ground would make a massive difference in the mentioned durability issues.
