These are nice sturdy adjustable stands. I used them to support an 8ft span in the middle to prevent sagging. The nice part is that I could adjust the height while loaded, so it really helped with easy leveling. So far, they have been in use for about a month and have not shown any rust, but it also hasn't been rainy or damp yet. I'll know in a year, and if remember, I'll update then. Otherwise, these work fine and can take quite a load.
