It appears to be nickel. It's not 100% so you'll get some cruddies in the process. 100% anode isn't available so you'll have to live with this.

I needed these nickel anodes to electroplate some machine parts that I wanted nickel-plated. The purity seems good. My first plating results are good. The dimensions of the strips I received are very close to what is described in the listing By volume, the strips I received actually contain 6% more nickel than listed.Recommended.

The metal is good quality so I'm able to use them for making nickel acetate solution, but the dimension of pieces I received are 2.5 cm x 12.5 cm (a bit less than 5 inches, not 6 as listed). This matters because these anodes don't fit the anode bags I've made in advance, the anodes are too short. I won't buy these again.
