My kids are just a little too little for this item, but we still try it every now and then and it works great! My 3 year old is figuring out the grooves!Highly recommend

Cute books! Sturdy construction for repeated use. The grooves allow for mistakes but are deep enough to guide them so they learn to make the numbers/letters on their own. There are lots of each one so they can practice a bunch on each page. The pens are cool since the ink disappears after a bit. I think it’s a good value, and a definitely a fun way for kids to learn to hold a pen and develop the muscle memory for writing properly.

These books with special disappearing ink do work as advertised. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I would have liked it if the grooves had been a little deeper. But over all my granddaughter really likes the books and the pens do work as expected.

The concept is great, and my 5 year old will surely enjoy practicing, BUT… how do you misspell “Numbers” on the cover of the book? Kind of amusing. Apparently I got a knockoff version.

The “Number” book reads on the front “Nuber”… now I have to see all words spelled in these books are actually grammatically correct. And, it did not bring the pen and refills. I’m very disappointed.
