Made zero difference to shoulder until I sewed 2 white ones together to make the 1.5cm thickness. That should have been the thickness of one of them. Even then, the pads were not the same size so not a very neat result. I binned them all.

Nice shoulder pads. They are as expected. I will buy again when I need more.UPDATE: When I actually used them a few weeks after I purchased them, they fell apart. If you try to sew them in, the foam and fabric they are made of falls apart. The only way you could use these is if you incased them in another layer of fabric and I would not trust that they would survive any kind of cleaning. This was a waste of money.

These are pretty flimsy. I used one pair in a thrift store jacket but wouldn’t even consider the them for a serious sewing project. The black pads are significantly smaller than the white pads, too. You get what you pay for.
