4 Pack threaded star type round tubing insert 1/4-20 threads. Fits 1" outside diameter tubing with 16/18 gauge wall thickness. Provided with a zinc plated finish. Metal star type inserts are designed to insert inside steel tubular legs. External edges fit flush with the outside edge of the tubing for a clean, finished appearance.

I never knew these things existed - i have been looking for a way to fix my camper ladder that the bottom two mounts rusted out of the stainless ladder. the ladder is made of 1" tube. upon further inspection these are very similar to the product used when the ladder was made. I am extremely happy with these. they are easy to install and seem to hold very well.

These inserts have allowed an old table to become much more useful. I was able to thread 1/4-20 threaded caster wheels at the bottom of the 1" tube legs. The inserts fit perfectly into the 1" tube legs.
