I ordered these for some wildlife department friends who very frequently have the need to take blood from a variety of critters while conducting research. They often need to obtain several different tubes of blood (for different uses) in a timely manner before the animal begins to come out of sedation. This is done in the field in often very inconvenient settings with a lot going on at once. So anything that can add some convenience to the process is a very welcome thing. These are ingenious for keeping the vials handy while drawing the blood, and keeping them organized for folks who rarely have any assistance in the field. They remind me of those magnetic wristbands that are so useful when working on a construction project in an awkward location and needing screws or bolts handy. I never knew how badly I needed one of those until I actually used one... and my friends report back that these wristband tube holders have given them the same positive feeling of 'where have these been all my life?'
