I had to use two of them to do my regular trimming on the front yard. Depending on how you use it, this might work for you… definitely not for me. It works fine with the Ego trimmer.. just doesn’t last very much.

SERVES AS A SUBSTITUTE FOR MORE EXPENSIVE EGO LINE.TWO COLOR LINE MAKES FOR EASY HALF AND HALF FEED.ORIGINAL EGO LINE IS A BIT THICKER BUT THE REPLACEMENT WORKSAND THE PRICE CANT BE BEAT FOR THE QUANTITY RECEIVED

My review is based on use of this trimmer line with an EGO POWERLOAD with LINE IQ 56-volt 16-in String Trimmer ST1620TThis line is the perfect length and is taken up without any issues by the Line IQ feature of my string trimmer.To the touch, the line feels slightly less thick than the EGO OEM line, but that may be on account of the twist in the line.The line will pull out if it catches or snags on a metal stack or fence picket. Not a big deal as the LINE IQ can quickly pull it back into the trimmer. I did this twice after trimming about a 3rd acre, not a big deal really.I love the dual color feature as it takes out the guesswork of lining up the ends of the trimmer to be even when installing, such a convenience!The line seems to last as long as the EGO branded line and other than the snag noted above I had no other issues with the line. It works well.This is a good value for a 4 pack, I've seen prices elsewhere for a third more.I recommend this trimmer line as an alternate to the EGO OEM product.
