The fixture is great! We needed additional down rods to have the fixture hang lower and unfortunately the down rods on this fixture were custom so we couldn't just order them, but the seller was extremely helpful and sent us extra down rods.

This light fixture was what I was looking for, for my space. It was just a pain to put together. The screws for the ceiling cover were barely long enough, even my tiny fingers were struggling. The securing plate had to be used as it did not fit the one there from my previous light. Be careful tightening the lengthening poles as they strip very easily.

The instructions aren’t exactly step by step like you’re putting together Legos, honestly after skimming them I didn’t use them. There’s a nut the wires go through and into the base, unscrewed that for access to the nuts and washers that secure the arms to the base, you can position the sockets up or down at this point. Then just screw that first nut to close up the base, pick the length or rod you need, slip the wires through it, then take the articulating mounting piece and slip the wires through that. At any point you need to install the flat mounting plate to the ceiling electrical box. The hardest part was holding the entire light fixture while connecting the wires from the light to the wires from the house with the provided wire nuts. Best to have a second person. It’s not really heavy, but it took a couple minutes of holding it while I got the wires into a position I could install the wire nuts on while not having full use of one hand. All in all, an easy install that once you look at it, is self explanatory, except for the flat mounting plate, that kinda depends on what you have installed on your house, but I’m sure most are very similar.

I bought 2 of these light fixtures one for the kitchenette 1 for the dining room. They're really beautiful. The challenge may be keeping the globe sparkling clean. But they've been up for a month and still look. Fantastic throws off excellent light with the bulbs recommended.
