I installed the lights myself for s new construction build. I am NOT a contractor or electrician and have limited... very limited construction knowledge. That said, these fixtures are very easy to install and extremely versatile as far as placement, installation and adjustment as well as wiring.Be causations when ordering, there are two kinds: one is rated for direct contact with insulation the other is not so please read the specs before ordering.These are 4" cans and I was worried that the account of light they give of wouldn't be sufficient for our vaulted ceiling (9'-16'), in or kitchen. I installed a total of 9 can lights that give of more than sufficient light, even put a dimmer switch on 5 of the lights.I highly recommend! Would definitely buy again.

Best deal on IC cans - except they are not!!! Simple a regular can - need 3” clearance from insulation… makes you wonder what else they misrepresented…

Housing are nice needed the e26 socket for already purchased LED retrofit ECOsmart lights . Also have option in future to change to the newer connector. Worked great really nothing special just a housing quality is good but not great and works and installed perfect just have to make sure you cut the holes exact so it’s nice and tight

If you are going with cans, these are good and not too expensive.

I used recessed cans in my reno. Work great. easy to install. The electrician really liked them. versatile for LED inserts or regular bulbs. I used these as clean, modern housings and added a Philips Hue system to them. love the smaller 4" size.

One can had two broken tack tabs. It probably happened during shipping but the packaging was poor so part of that is on the mfg. otherwise these are pretty great. No difference in quality from what you would see at Lowe’s or Home Depot.

Very pleased...No complaints. Housing is well made & have many features including both LED connection & standard socket w/vertical height adjustment, push-in electrical wire terminals w/3 empty ports for each conductor including ground, multiple wire cut outs including push-in for Romex. Well made & easy to install. 4 1/4" hole cutout provides perfect fit. Has 4 snap locks to hold fixture in ceiling. At ~$9 each these are a great value.
