I had to mount some wood panels on a 50 ft long wall, And the plywood was slightly warped. I needed to find a solution that would pull the warps in tight and not have any face screws on the panels.These rockets work absolutely perfect. They're made of a nice heavy aluminum and only result in a quarter inch gap behind them total. So buffering out around the edges with quarter inch plywood and using these in the middle behind was perfect.They didn't come with any hardware which is fine since every situation will require different length screws etc. I also had to drill countersink holes so the screw heads would sit flat which again is understandable because of the unknown type of fasteners needed for each situation.Couldn't find anything like this at the big box hardware stores. Have these in my hands in just a couple days and completed the project on time. The costs were very insignificant for these but they saved what would otherwise have been a total nightmare to resolve.

The cleat themselves are solid. No issues there. However, all of the pictures show the cleats along with screws. I returned the package the first time I got it because there were not any screws provided. Spoke with customer service and they apologized and arranged to send a replacement package BUT, second package also arrived with NO SCREWS. I didn't see anything stating that the screws were sold separately so, pretty frustrating/disappointing.

The description states hardware included. The pictures show there is hardware included. Sadly, there is no hardware. I sent the first shipment back thinking it was missing the hardware. The second shipment arrived without hardware. It's an easy fix to get your own hardware, but I was no expecting to so based on the description and pictures. The product itself is good.

The 4" French cleats are exactly as described. Good quality. Seems sturdy. We haven't installed any yet but plan to use them this weekend

We ended up returning this item, but the problem was not its quality.I found it a well-made product and good design. After I received it, I dry fitted it and the cleats fitted well together. The tolerances are what they should be, but that ended up being the problem. We were hanging a large and heavy hutch. I realized both surfaces had to be absolutely flat. I then checked the wall and it had a bow in the middle resulting in each end of a straightedge being nearly 3/8" off the wall. I guess I could have shimmed the piece on the wall, but that was more correction than I felt comfortable making on this long a span.Keep this in mind when considering using this product. I suggest you check the flatness of the wall, since both surfaces must be almost perfectly flat for the cleat to engage properly. Again, this was not a problem with the cleat but with our wall.

These were exactly what we needed to hang our electric fireplace. Worked as described and is very sturdy.

I use wood French cleats all the time in my shop with 3/4 inch plywood. I got these to use around the house, mirrors and pictures, but will now be using in my shop as well. It's nice and tight to the wall, even to hang a couple of garage cabinets and tools in my trailer. I'll keep challenging them, but so far so good.
