Your cart is empty.Two-way flea protection kills adult fleas and flea eggs before they hatch. Fleas are present year-round, even in colder climates. And if you see one flea, there’s a good chance many more fleas, larvae and eggs are nearby. Fleas can carry diseases, transmit tapeworms and cause flea allergy dermatitis—the most common allergic skin disease of cats. If an infestation is bad enough, it can even cause anemia, which can be fatal to kittens. That’s why you need Provecta for Cats.

I have 3 cats, someone brought in fleas...Ughh! Tried everything, this was the 4th medicine in 4 months. It works!! Also brushing everyday. The application is so much better than the break apart foil applicator. Very easy, no mess.

Provecta 2 for cats under 9 lbs. is a very reliable product, although it is not always effective for the advertised 28 days.

I do not trust any of the dog flea meds for my bitty teacup poodle who is also older. She is my bestest friend in the entire world and will not use anything on her as dog products seem to start at 5 pounds. Well, she ain't 5 pounds!!! My cat weighs more than her - my cat weighs more than both of my dogs! Leeloo is about average for a Papillion and she is also older - both my dogs are around 12-14 (both are rescues so their ages are not exact). Anyway, I had a "visitor" this year that came with fleas that jumped right onto my furballs. Shaved their fur down, gave the dogs baths, and tried the smallest dog flea collars which didn't seem to help at all. I had bought a pack of this cat liquid to put on the cat since, like most cats, she wasn't about to let me bathe her and her flea infestation seems to go down almost immediately. Took the collars off the dogs and put a tube of this cat fluid flea meds on their back as it was meant for small cats/kittens. Immediately, their flea infestation was reduced significantly. I bought this second box of 4 so that I could ensure the furballs in my family are as flea-free and possible. If you, too, have a teeny little teacup of a canine that has fleas, this will work for them.

Not sure what caused the prices to go up so fast & far this year, but I was looking for a functional and reasonably priced alternative to the big pharmaceutical company's product. This product is working well in the past few weeks on my two small indoor/outdoor cats. Once I get the individual portions open, they're easy to administer to the skin at the scruff of the neck. The only problem I have is puncturing the tip of the tube...it's not easy, so be careful as you may accidentally squeeze the chemical out onto your hand trying to puncture the tip. Otherwise, recommended.
