Specifications:
Working power supply: DC8-24V, 40mA
Display mode: 0.56"LED,4 Digital.
measurement range: 10-9999RPM
Measuring Accuracy: ±0.1, reading ±1 word.
Display refresh rate: >3 times/sec
Overrange display: the first one shows "1" or "-1", and the latter three do not show
Physical dimension: 79x43x26mm
Precautions:
1.Connect the plug correctly according to the wiring diagram
2.Should avoid strong electromagnetic interference and it is better to use shielded wire or double stranded wire for measuring conductors
3.The counting signal of the counter and the switch of the zero clearing signal
input or the circuit shall be as close as possible to the terminal of the counter to
make the signal line as short as possible
4.Avoid with other such as: high voltage wires or power wires and so on with same
tube or twisted trace line, in order to avoid unnecessary interference.
If necessary, please use the shielded wire, shielding layer connect the"+" of the count terminals
5.It is not recommended to use a mechanical switch or micro switch
because they have a relatively short life span and can be counted by mistake after long time.
If you have to, please try better quality ones, strongly suggest a magnetic control switch

1 x Tachometer
1 x Hall NPN proximity sensor
1 x Bracket
1 x Magnet
1 x Cable

Works for me. I put it on my metal lathe. Pretty sensitive to EMI (no surprise), and I'm using a VFD, which is very noisy. I'm powering the unit from the 12V auxiliary power terminal on the VFD, and I think the EMI noise was coming up that line. I tried several EMI suppression methods, a bypass capacitor at the "power +" connection seemed to do the trick. Very slow to update, don't believe that ">3 times/sec" spec. Mine takes 8 seconds to catch up to a change in speed. OK for steady speeds, like a machine tool spindle. These things are cheap, so I might try a different kind if the slow response turns out to be too annoying.

I would give this product less than 1 star if I could, the brittle plastic clips do not bite into the proper opening cut out, no matter which way you wire it it does not function there are no directions and the wiring diagrams are grossly wrong. Do not buy.
