These casters are perfect for mobile tool stands and carts. They roll easily and can take the weight. I would recommend getting these from this seller because I got some from a different seller and they were damaged in the bearing on one of them.

I would call the quality a solid three. The top plate and body is thin (0.108"), the wheel webbing is also thin. The axel shown in the image has an OD of 0.304" and the sleeve an OD of 0.388". There are NO ball bearings in the hub. There is a standard double row in the swivel. For my particular application , I ended up just using the wheels with the existing swivels, these casters would have been fine. The application is less than 400 pounds total, the problem is abrasion from a rough concrete floor. Longevity, we think they will be OK. If your application is half a ton and a lot of movement , do yourself a favor and invest more than $35 .... $8.75 each. You get what you pay for ;) For the price and a medium duty application, I believe these would be okay.

Take them apart and grease them but otherwise these are really solid and roll excellent, for the price you cannot touch these.

I was looking for a set of wheels that would hold up to not only weight, but also ease of mobility. So I purchased this set. They are heavy duty and well made. I took each wheel apart cleaned the inner race of the wheels and bearing sleeves. I lubed each one with heavy duty axle grease put them back together used a dry silicone lube for ball bearing caster and installed them on a large shop work bench. The bench now rolls with ease and I use two small pieces of rubber pads for the brakes. Good product.

I had to drill new holes to make them work on my engine hoist. Other than that, they work great.

I should've done this repair a long long time ago.My engine lift (Cherry Picker) works like it's brand new. I think I'm going to sand it down and paint it, it works so good.I purchased the 4 pack of Heavy Duty High-Gauge Steel Gray (3.5" No Brake). I can't say anything about the bolt pattern on the wheels because the original wheels were welded on so I did the same thing. It says it has a heavy duty riveted axle, the picture shows a nut and bolt and I'm real happy it actually has the nut and bolt. There's no lube hole in the wheels for oil so before I put the legs back into the cherry picker I removed and lubed each axle with wheel bearing grease and applied some 30 weight motor oil to the caster bearings. I have the SBC from my pickup hanging on it right now and can't believe how easy this thing is to move around and even position while removing the engine. Amazing difference really happy they still make steel wheels.
