Quick & Easy Installation
Installation steps
1.Center adapter on spider arms and mark each arm where the adapter ring meets spider arm.
2.Confirm your marks.
3.Cut each spider arm with heavy duty steel cutter, tool, or hacksaw.
4.Position adapter over spider arms.
5.Using pliers, crimp each flange firmly around each spider arm.
The lamp shade with threaded fitter adapter can attach directly to the lamp socket, under the light bulb to hold the lampshade in place.

My lampshade broke at the three points of this adapter. I filed the rods smooth and re-soldered the rods onto this 3-way bridge adapter and saved money on keeping the old lampshade.

This three-way bridge adapter is exactly what I needed to convert my old spider to fit my new lampshade. I completed the conversion without my husband's help, which surprised us both, but the conversion was super easy!
