I tried using these with raw eggs… shell pieces everywhere. I tried using these with boiled eggs, tore up the egg. I was excited about the idea, but in practical use, I just don’t get the value. It’s easier to do what I need to do without these.

I fell for the hype - Nope.. didn't work for me for boiled eggs, maybe fresh eggs, but heck they are pretty easy to crack open. I was going to give the other two to friends, but I'm embarrassed that I fell for this gimmick.

I bought this after watching a video thinking it would be great for peeling eggs. Doesn’t do it at all. Sorry I wasted money on it.

BUYER BEWARE: Cheaply made. The video showed how easy it was to evenly break an egg. Since the part that cracks the egg is on only one side, it isn’t any better than cracking it by hitting the egg on the edge of a bowl if they were on both sides, that could have worked. Disappointed.

I bake and cook quite a bit, but never have mastered the one hand method of cracking open raw eggs. In addition, I really dislike getting raw egg on my hands and having to constantly wash them. I thought this would be the perfect solution. I tested it out tonight on five eggs and it did not work successfully on any of them. I even tried doing one side, then rotating the egg to the other. No luck and I also found pieces of shell in my bowl. I’m wondering if perhaps the eggs that I was using had unusually hard shells. I will try it again with a new batch of eggs and update my review if it works.
