Purchased these to help my 3 year old practice cutting with scissors. These scissors only work half the time. They routinely bend and tear the paper rather than cut. It makes learning to cut a bit difficult for the toddler. Probably would not buy again or recommend to a friend.

Excellent “first scissors”. Teaches your toddler how to cut without the risk of slicing their fingers (or cutting your hair …). Sometimes they don’t “cut” if the angle of the scissors isn’t directly perpendicular to the paper but otherwise, fantastic!

I’ve seriously taken these to multiple things and nothing has been cut but paper. They also provide a bunch of different shapes for the kids to practice cutting.

High quality scissor for our toddler to practice cutting. It’s super safe but cuts paper really well! Our 2 year old can easily hold the scissor, and has no issues cutting paper. He loves the little images that came with this product to practice his cutting, although they are little advanced. There’s no simple straight line that he can practice cutting along. He loves the colors and makes it enticing to use.

Nice little scissor set, very giftable if you have a little one in your life. Comes with 3 different colored scissors, which is nice for siblings, and cards with cute pictures to be cut. The scissors cut the paper really well despite being not at all sharp, but they don't cut thicker paper as cleanly or as easily. They work well with construction paper but heavier cardstock is a little challenging (though not as challenging as I expected).The pictures vary in difficulty. This way the child can improve their cutting skills by starting with simpler designs and progressing to slightly more detailed pictures. I got this set for my 4 year old nephew who is 5 now and still uses it. Helps with getting ready for kindergarten. It's nicer in a way than activity books, because at the end he has little treasures that he's cut out rather than a book full of paper scraps. And the pictures can be hung on the fridge without taking up too much room.

These are probably perfect for right handed people, but my left handed family cannot use them. If looking for scissors that are compatible for left handed people, these will not work for you. Beautifully packaged and came well shipped/protected, but we unfortunately cannot use them.
