Pasting Notes
CLEAN THOROUGHLY
1.Pour out the litter from the box.
2.Thoroughly clean the garbage and dust in the box.
3.Be sure to dry it thoroughly before posting it on.
PASTE LOCATION
1.The tape need pasted on the inside of the box.
2.Pasting position is some distance below the edge.
3.Tape junction needs overlap a small section.
PASTING SKILLS
1. When pasting the corners, avoid separating the top of the shields.
2. Bend the shields to fit a larger area into the corner of the box.
THE MOST IMPORTANT
1.You can try several times to find the correct pasting position. When you're done, press and fix.

Good at stopping pee from going over the litter box for cats that stand up before finishing. Easy to stick just put some shipping tape to hold up for a longer time. Its easy to clean of and has no smell

These work pretty well. They aren't flimsy, and the adhesion strip is strong. The only issue is that the adhesion strip is maybe a half inch above the bottom of the plastic, so if urine hits it, the surface tension of the urine causes it to get pulled up underneath the guard. It is hard to get it out, as the guard is stiff and stays laying close to the surface of the litter box side. It would be better to have the adhesive strip extend all the way to the bottom of the guard. I appreciate that might affect the adhesive, but I'm guessing it would last longer than my cat can stand bits of pure urine permanently stuck under the edge of the guard (he needs a clean litter box). Alternatively, a flap at the bottom that can be raised to clean underneath could avoid this issue. Anyway, it's better than pee on the floor or wall, but I recommend you attach this as high as possible to hopefully lessen the number of times pee hits it and the resulting difficulty of trying to get that pee back out from underneath. I may try a strip of tape over the bottom edge, since at least that can be replaced as needed.

Within hours of installing the shields, they proved to be worth it!! My cat randomly developed a tendency to aim high (ruled out health issues) and it was such a hassle to clean little puddles outside of the litter box every day. These shields are amazing and I’ve seen no incidents outside the litter box since installing them!! Easy to wipe clean, and easy to install.

I got a massive litter box so I needed more than 4. The 4 works perfectly in the spots they are. Stupid easy to place and now my litter flinging cat cant make me clean as much as I was doing before.

Very easy to install, easy to clean, and work as intended.One of our 2 cats developed a habit is aiming high in the litter box (ruled out health causes, he's just a silly guy). And these are very helpful in keeping the pee IN the box and save me time cleaning up.CAN be cut smaller if necessary with a pair of regular scissors. I use a single shield on the back of my Target Up & Up brand litter boxes because that's the only spot my cat sprays. Works on enclosed litter boxes just fine. You may have to replace them after a few months of use, depending, as they can come loose over time. I always keep some spares on hand.Admittedly litter can get stuck on the lower lip, just under the sticky part, but I remedied this by putting a strip of clear packing tape flush over the bottom edge of the pee shield after installation to avoid pee and litter getting trapped.Make sure you thoroughly clean and dry the litter box/area you plan to stick them to first or it will eventually come unstuck.

So the product itself is simple to apply. You just peel off the film and slap it onto the inside edge of the litterbox. A bit simple for a $19 price tag, but it saves the floor, right?Well... not really.These are small, meant for single-cat boxes. If you have a jumbo box for a jumbo cat, they won't actually fit together. They don't bend easily, which is necessary to stick them on corners, they kept popping up due to how firm they are. So instead of fighting the corners, I just stuck them close to the corners, hoping to cover the most likely sides. Alas.... there is still urine under the box. I may have to buy another set to block the corners, but I worry that may just trap cat urine between the box and barriers if I overlap them.Still... it's LESS urine than before, so it's an improvement regardless.

Even high-sided litter trays didn't stop my male cat from peeing over the top of them. These just stick on to the inside of the (high-sided) tray and the laundry floor is finally clean.You do need to use a couple of bulldog clips or similar to link the sheets together and ensure there are no gaps, but they WORK, thank goodness... I wish I'd done it years ago!Getting another set for the shed.

I have one kitty that pees above the rim of all the litter boxes, no matter how tall they are. She tends to stand with her booty as close as possible to the edges (often the corners), so the pee goes outside the box quite a bit. I bought these, and they are very helpful. I ordered enough for 3 per box, but that doesn't provide enough to cover the corners. So I will get enough for 4 per box next time. In the meantime, I used tape and other plastic to cover the spaces on corners (where overlap doesn't meet). They can be wiped down to clean and so far, the adhesive has held up. Not sure how long wiping them down will hold up until they start smelling, so I can update if I find that the smell is bad. She still sometimes pees at the front corners, where these don't reach, so I have a pee pad in front of the box for now.

I've got two 17 year old cats. They both have arthritis and back problems. Because of that, they aren't always great about knowing where they are in relationship to the box. We had many cases of them being in the box but peeing over the side. But because of their issues we can't use a taller box or one with a cover, they're just too hard for the cats to use.These shields made a *huge* difference. We can use a box that works well for their needs and the shields act as a reminder for where the box is. We haven't had a single miss since we put the shields up!The adhesive isn't great going around sharp corners but it does get the job done. I usually restick the corners at each box clean so it works out.
