Why not use tape?
We used to use tape, but we invented Eyebloc because we didn’t like to get gunk on our laptop, phone, and other devices and we like to use our webcam to chat with friends and colleagues. So, we wanted something we could easily remove when using the camera and remove without leaving gunk on our expensive equipment.

While these do cover the cameras, they fall off pretty easily after a few months. I've found them stuck to other things when they've fallen off without my knowledge. Wish they were slightly more adhesive but this may impact the ability to remove & move them around. From the 3 pack, I've already lost 1 somewhere due to how easily the come off.

I got these because the top of my laptop is too thin to support those sliding ones like I used to have. Now, after three days of use and moving it four times, it already doesn’t stick. Just fell off as I’m writing this. Worked great for a day and a half.::edited follow up: all three failed. The first lasted 3 days, the second 20 minutes and the third lasted 1 day.

this webcam cover is easy to use. was concerned it was going to leave sticky behind ... but somehow it sticks without leaving sticky. I also like the way it doesn't make a big deal about covering the webcam ... hardly notice it.

I bought these for family members with laptops, and am really impressed with the quality.The nano suction provides secure placement, but is very easy to remove and reapply, reducing possible damage to the cover.The surface is slight cushioned and extremely soft, raising my confidence in the product's ability to completely avoid any scratches or misalignment of the lids.Awesome product.

It’s a bit bulky/thick. Then it’s supposedly some sort of nano tech that sticks without glue. But due to its thickness if it swipes something like when u slide the phone in your pockets it will snag and fall off. I ran thru the whole pack in a week cuz I don’t realize when it fell off and it’s gone maybe it it’s thin it won’t snag but as is i don’t recommend.

So perfect if you don’t want a piece of ugly tape covering your webcam. Can be moved when you need to move it to use the camera and then put right back without losing its ability to adhere. This is a great product.
