Bought the rebuild kit and threw in new tires to complete the rebuild. Works well and the cleaner runs and works as new!

I've had these tires on my Polaris 3900 Sport cleaner for about seven months, including one summer season. They appear to have worn well, with no issues so far.The OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) Polaris tires can be found online retailing for $25 to $40 EACH and the largest brick and mortar pool store in the US sells them for $45 each! I've never understood how such small tires can be so expensive in the Polaris brand. There is no reason to believe that they're made of a special, expensive rubber compound.So, you can pay $16 for these three tires or up to $135 for three OEM tires. Having never done a scientific wear or quality comparison between these and the Polaris brand, I can't tell if they will last equally long or are made of the same compound.But, at a small fraction of the price of OEM, you can buy about SIX SETS of these for the typical $90 online price for a set of Polaris brand tires.As you can see from my photos, the tires are in fine shape after seven months in the water and with my cleaner operating an hour per day in a (rougher than plaster) pebble-finish pool. It's Texas and the pool is still running in January - it's never shut down.These were no more difficult to install on the wheels than were the OEM brand. It helps to heat the tires in warm or semi-hot water before installing, to help them expand and be more pliable.In summary, I see no reason whatsoever not to buy these tires, considering the great price.

They work great. I just wish they didn’t put rubber bands around the tires It took a long Time to un bend the round wheels because they had all been wrapped with rubber bands, making them flat for shipping. It may be cheaper for the shipper to send them, but it makes a lot harder for the purchaser.

The Polaris cleaner tires were easy to put on and eliminated some of the slipping along the pool surface. Only just installed so don't know longevity.

Hopefully you read this before attempting to install these tires! The tires were shipped in a flat shape. I could see that it was going to be a difficult process to install them so I placed them in a bowl with hot water from the tap to help them be more pliable. Then I put 1 drop of dish detergent on the wheels, using wet fingers to spread the soap to the entire area to be covered by the tire.. Then I started stretching the tires over the wheels, starting on the hubcap side of each wheel, then pulling the tire to the opposite side of the wheel. A flat head screwdriver was helpful in pulling the tire onto the back side of the wheel to finish. I am curious to see how long they last, since the pool supply store said I should buy theirs at over $40 each! Ha!

These Polaris tires fit and work beautifully. They took a little elbow grease to get on, but each tire just took a few mintues. Definitely recommend removing the wheel from the Polaris before putting the new tire on., and leaving the tires in the sun for about 30 mins to warm up before putting them on. Had them on for a week and they have not left any skidmarks on our pool liner. Great product!

I have found these tires to be non-marking on my light color plaster, being a bit concerned after just having the pool re-plastered. No problems. The Polaris has excellent traction once again. (I installed the tires on a warm day, and in the water, so the old tires came off very easily. The new ones take a few minutes each to slowly, gently work the tire around the wheel without pushing and pulling on the assembly.) I will definitely purchase these tires again, they are a perfect fit.
