I used the needles to make a beaded necklace… It came in handy with the smaller ones. They worked well, just wish they were not so bendable..

I use the small needles all the time to pull thread through tiny rigging blocks. I do abuse them but these are a lot better then using a needle. These can twist and turn through tight places. I normally cut the shank to a shorter length so I can run these better through tight places.

Just a few weeks ago I started to make Native American regalia. I found that the beads I was using had a smaller hole then what I could effectively use without some kind of modification to the bead. When I tried to drill the bead holes to a larger diameter, the bead would break. So I heard about a collapsible eye type of needle.This needle fits the need to pull some Sinew through small bead holes. Because of that reason and that only reason, these are my go to needles for beading. Extremely flexible, but with time they will break. So before I start a new project I make sure I have plenty of these needles around. Perhaps you will too.

I have been beading since June 2000. This is the first time I have used these collapsible needles. OMG, they are so easy to use. I am replacing elastic with new elastic in all of the stretchy bracelets I have made. Because I use very small beads in between the beads instead of metal spacers (#11 seed beads =/-), the needles were very helpful in speeding up the process.
