Bought this to adhere to PLA plastic. Works ok-ish, in a semi-permanent way.

We have a use for very narrow and thin VHB tape. 3M still makes this in white, but the black is discontinued. It's too bad, because it's a great product and works very well for binding lighter weight and/or smaller materials. If you need a good double-stick substance, this is the product you want to use.

Over the last 10 years I have had to replace a number of dual pane windows that had failed. The ones installed by window installers hired by the manufactured have failed several ties because they used silicone to remove the old glazing tape and applied new tape on a now slippery surface. For the window panes that I replaced, my go to tape no longer works (Amazon ASIN B000KZR4UO, it won't stick to itself) and the replacement (Amazon ASIN B01ITO18S6) I purchased recently won't stick to itself either let alone the window frame or the glass.Enter 3M VHB tape. I tried to purchase VHB glazing tape (B23F or G23F) but 3M will not sell it to consumers. I found that 3M VHB 4611 (this tape) comes closest to meeting the requirements and I followed "A User’s Guide to Glazing Tapes" by Tom Brown which recommended 3M VHB glazing tape and a host of other (mostly) 3M products to remove the old adhesive tape using a couple of 3M products, including sanding the surface of the metal frame lightly with 150/180 grit sandpaper, then applying 3M Adhesion Promoter 111 to the surface and finally the 3M VHB tape. This product is very sticky and actually stuck the the cleaned window frame, window and bead strips. This was the 1st of 6 windows that the manufactures installed last that have failed and hopefully they won't fail in the future. So far so good.

Very happy with using it to install my garage door insulation as long as you do the right prep. Cleaned the mounting area of the panels with glass cleaner and then 99% isopropyl alcohol. Stuck on good and strong.

These tapes are great to have, sticks to almost anything. I use them on my powder coated metal work and it works perfectly.

I feel this was a great product, it was easy to install, the adhesive quality was great, stayed where I put it, and is a great value for the money. I would recommend this product.

It's good, very sticky, likes to stick to my fingers more than surfaces at first but once on the longer it stays the stronger it binds to the surface, wish it was slimmer, but it's foam so that was my bad

Used to replace the failed double-sided tape on the factory fender flares of my 2018 Dodge Ram 1500.Original tape was not properly applied at factory and started to de-bond towards the end of the first year. This tape is slightly narrower than the original so I applied 2 strips side by side and this worked perfect. Extra adhesion area compared to original. Its been several months now and they have not budged in the slightest. I am sure this will last for a long long time.

This is a powerful double-sided sticky tape great for many things. I have used short pieces (less than a 1") to attach small metal clips to plastic, metal, or glass objects. Works almost as well as glue and more easily removed. I have used much longer strips (2 or 3 ft) to attach securely rubber edge/corner bumper stripping to wooden desk or table tops. All sorts of uses for this stuff.
