This is easy to put on, easy to take off. Works very well! We sprayed 40% vinegar all over and couldn't smell the vinegar with the mask on. With it off, it was an overpowering stench that you couldn't stand to breathe. Best part of the whole product is that it is fog free on glasses! I never fogged the entire 3 days of wearing it!

Works great for blocking fine dust particles and chemical fumes. The very still plastic can sometimes lead to pressure injuries with red (but unbroken), sensitive skin across the nose bridge and tenderness in other less bony areas. Worth it to protect our lungs!

Relatively comfortable in high heat. Outside of mask was covered in dust during paint scraping and sanding, interior stayed clean. No smells.

This respirator has been soo much better than my disposable masks I was using. Less waste + more effective. It sits on my head comfortably and I find it doesnt fog up my glasses either. Really happy with this purchase to help me be safer in the workshop.

I have a severe mold sensitivity after living in our home with an unknown water leak for 7 years. Even after remediation/repair, I amstill reacting. I purchased this mask to explore our crawl space for any additional mold. I found a pile of leftover moldy, rotten wood from our wall repair. This mask allowed me to be down there with no reaction. I will always keep this mask around for any future crawl Space/attic inspections or water leak repairs.Comfortable to wear, even with goggles. No glasses or goggle fogging, but it does get hot and collect condensation from your breath. Just wipe clean and hang to dry between uses.

Bought this product because my work environment considers a significant amount of dust diesel fumes and whatever else is in the air the product itself does make it easier for inhaling the fumes in the environment you can significantly tell a difference between when the mask is on and when the mask is not based on the environment I'm working in. However you do need to spend maybe once a week cleaning the inside of the silicone rubber mask that goes around your face due to keeping it out bacteria and any sort of allergens that might be built up in The mask over the time after all it is on your face and I'm working in an outdoor environment which means my it's hot in the summer and it's cold in the winter so my face is sweating quite often. The filters on it lasts about maybe a month and before you have to buy replacements so although the mask itself is a good product and is x amount of dollars you still need to buy proper replacements for the filters on a monthly basis so it does create a monthly charge for you if you intend on using this mask frequently throughout your job and you're paying for it out of pocket.

It's cheap, and 3M needs the standards for safety. Cartridges swap easily. I don't expect this to last long under heavy use and being banged around in work caddies. That's OK because again, it's cheap. Almost impossible to push glasses close to eyes as normal and that affects vision-sharpness needed for fine quality craftsmanship. No fogging issues though. Make sure the top bands are loose enough so the upper nose portion doesn't dig into your nose. But also make sure the seal is adequate for safety needs whether dust or vapors. When taking off after oil priming, I'm still stunned I could sense none of that (I used Organic Vapor carts). The lead dust this comes with make the price worth it. Can't wait to upgrade to a more expensive comfortable model - this works for the price.

My wife and I recently bought our first house and during a heavy rainfall, I noticed some water leaking in behind the wall beneath the basement window well. Once I had fabricated a window well cover at work to prevent any further leaks and ensured that no more water was coming in, it was time to tear down the drywall beneath the window well and remove the mouldy stuff. Not wanting to risk anything, and fearing that there could be a lot of mould, I purchased this mould and lead respirator mask. The price for this mask was great, easily $20 cheaper than what was available at Canadian Tire or Home Depot, and those weren't even mould specific masks, so they not have been as effective. Additionally, 3M is one of the most trusted names for respirator filters, so I feel better buying this one than the off-brand ones at Canadian Tire and Home Depot. This mask fit well, and the filters screwed on easily and securely. Breathing with the mask on was a bit laboured, but that's to be expected, but after about 5 minutes I didn't even notice the breathing restriction any more. The mask fit well and was relatively comfortable, with good adjustment range and an airtight seal. Once I was done with the mask, I put it back in the packaging for safe storage (a proper case would have been nice, but I can't complain at this price) and I placed the filters in a tightly sealed ziplock bag (it's important to keep filters in an airtight storage bag when not in use, to keep them from wearing out or being contaminated.

I've usually used just the basic face masks and bought this for a little more protection. It seems to filter very well. It fits well. There are 2 straps. One goes around your neck and you can latch it on and off. The other goes on your head and has two parts and fits like a hat--one on the top and one on the back of your head. So that is very comfortable. It makes a tight seal also. I may have had it a bit too tight because it gets a bit uncomfortable after a while. The filters work well, I was surprised that they eliminated all smell while I was working sweeping up cat litter. Considering how well this works I'll probably use this for most uses instead of the basic mask that does not seal on your face.
