The Painter's Plastic has been a game-changer for my painting around the house and on several projects. This product is just the round of the mill plastic, but of good quality as it makes the masking process quick and straightforward. It comes with a lot for the price allowing me to cover large areas without constantly needing to replace the roll or cut up for many projects. The plastic is durable yet lightweight, making it easy to handle and cut to the desired length for anything I required.One of the major pros is its 'clinging' ability. It sticks well to surfaces, preventing paint from seeping through and protecting areas from overspray. This has saved me significant time and effort in cleanup, ensuring a professional-looking result every time for my DIY projects.There are a few minor drawbacks with this. The plastic can sometimes be a bit tricky to unroll and manage single-handedly, especially if you're working in tight spaces in the crawlspace. Also, while the plastic is durable, it can occasionally tear if caught on sharp edges or rough surfaces, so extra care is needed during the job. We have had a bit if a renovation disaster and had to cover our walls a few times. This plastic wall covering was a life saver. We would tape it up one day, which is nicely folded and easy to live with while hanging unfolded. Then when we were ready to paint our ceiling, we quickly pulled it down. The plastic clings nicely to the wall.We ran out of the 3M and picked up a different brand from our local hardware store. The other brand didn’t come close to the quality 3M offers. 3M is clearly labeled and tapes up easy. The plastic itself is good quality.We highly recommend this product if you need to cover your walls.

Fue bastante útil para cubrir espacios durante una remodelación, si bien no es de uso rudo, mantuvo el polvo totalmente fuera del área cubierta. Yo recomendaría comprarlo en conjunto con la cinta azul para pintar, ya que no incluye nada para adherir. El tamaño creo que es perfecto, cumple un espacio amplio sobre todo desde un techo promedio al suelo. En general muy útil para pintar o remodelaciones sencillas, creo que es un producto muy necesario para esas tareas.

I taped the plastic sheeting to protect our walls while scraping off popcorn ceiling. The sheeting worked great--the right amount of cling and a good height for 8-foot walls. Would buy again.

This is not thick, it is very thin, opaque. I thought it would be thicker but it does to the to cover what you need to not get strayed or painted. It tears easy do not for heavy use. But a lot of material for the price.

I've never had very good luck masking off with plastic. It would look like a 3 year old did it and if it was up for an extended period of time it would fall down in spots. It was basically a two man job and it is just me. It got to the point that I just covered the floors and then do the required clean up to the walls. My next project was scaping the texture off my ceilings and saw this and thought I would give it a try. It dispenses easily out of the box and "starter" tab makes it easy to get the tape on the plastic and stuck to the wall. it is easy to cut the length you need. The plastic clings to the walls so it looks like there is a film on the wall and it helps hold the plastic in place while you apply the tape. I did the entire upstairs of my house by myself and it almost looked like a professional had done it. I was extremely happy with how easy it was to put up and the durability was excellent for being as thin as it is. You get a lot plastic for your dollar. I bought another roll just to have on hand for my next project. Definitely the best thing I have come across in quite a while.

I use this when painting so i don't have to remove all the furniture from the room. I use it to vover the furniture in the middle of the room then cut strips for the perimeter. It is not adhesive, but i tape the baseboards and leave the tape sticking off the baseboards and just stick this plastic under the tape abd it stays great. It's a little tricky to open up all the way (like the produce bags at the grocery store), but once you get the hang of it, it's easy. It is very thin and tears easily if you put a ladder on it and drag it. It was perfect fir my jobs. I had 4 rooms to paint and had enough plastic for the 4 rooms and still have more left.
