Once you realise it’s not booby bra tape, it’s pretty good. Kinda pricey though.

The film came with ragged edges which stood out after installation. I ended up removing it and throwing it in the trash.

There was a part of my car's hood where it was starting to look like Mater from Cars. Luckily, there is this 3M paint protection that one can apply. I removed the rusty layer and then painted it. I waited for the paint to cure then I applied this paint protection film to the entire front side of the hood. My only complaint is that the 72" roll looks a lot from the picture but in reality, this is a very small amount. Take your time because if it is a large area, you cannot mess up! Supply is low.

I’ve used this product a lot over the years. Whomever cut the width on this must have used a dull pocket knife because the edge looked like a saw blade. Looked like crap when I installed it and ended up taking it back off.

Great product and genuine 3M brand. Shipping was very fast. Price was very competitive and the rolls came in the widths and sizes I needed. This seller on Amazon was the best source I found online, had widest selection of sizes, and best price. I use this film to protect certain areas on my expensive carbon bicycle frame. I’ve used it on several bikes for many years. The film is very easy to apply and has been very durable. Search the web for the correct 3M installation procedures and it’s a breeze to put on.

I purchased this item so I could install a strip under the edge of my tonneau cover on my truck. I cut my 2" clear bra in 1" widths to accommodate what I wanted to do. The paint is starting to show some mild damage after 18-months on my truck, where the foam seal contacts the outer edge of the bed. INSTRUCTIONS on how to use Scotchgard film protector, ARE NOT INCLUDED. It took me a while to locate on the web some information about installation. The 3-M site is not much help but will gladly tell you where to go to get it installed. A youtube video helped but knowing the installation ingredients is important. The soap was 16-ounces of water with 4-drops of Johnson's baby shampoo. It keeps the film movable while on your vehicle, until you're ready to make it permanent. To activate the glue after using the soapy solution requires a 3-1 mix of water and rubbing alcohol. The videos do not address the strength of the rubbing alcohol. Rubbing alcohol comes in varied strengths. I've seen 50% and 75% on the shelf. I mixed my home-made bottle of glue activator, from a bottle at home containing 50% rubbing alcohol. I cut the 1-part of alcohol with 3-parts water. It worked. Mine is almost invisible. So far it works great! I'd do it again. I've offered to do it to my son's truck but his cover has rubbed through the paint, so it will have to wait until after the respray.
