Using this on a letter sign to hold the letters on the wall while the adhesive dries. Great tape if u use it for the proper application and properly prep your surface. I've always trusted 3m. When it's filled on me it was always due to lack of prepping my surface or using the wrong tape for the job.

I used this tape on my hue strip lights where the factory adhesive was failing. It worked great and was easy to install.

The 3M brand tapes are a long standard for us, it holds strong and lasts long. its a chore to remove but that is fine as we really dont want it to be easy in our application we use it for.

Do NOT BUY! I purchased 2 rolls for my windows as I live in Michigan & winter had arrived before I had gotten my double pane windows installed so I figured I could wrap plastic around & get thru the cold! WRONG the supposed tape wouldn’t even stick TO PLASTIC! I tried everything & I mean to the point of buying vinyl & stapling the vinyl strips around my windows to stick the tape to as it wasn’t sticking to either my wood trim, plaster OR unfinished drywall! I took a blow dryer to it then went & bought a heat gun still NADA! I mean it didn’t stick long enough for me to complete the ENTIRE WINDOW! I am so disgusted with this product that I will b hesitant to buy ANY 3M PRODUCT! It wasn’t just that the tape wouldn’t stick 2 ANYTHING (even after I screwed 4 2x4’s around my window to create solid pressure between the tape & my walls!) it actually seemed to AMPLIFY THE COLD AIR to the point of my curtains BLOWING AS IF I HAD them open! I have caught a cold as a result of falling asleep just to wake up freezing cuz the plastic had fallen free of the windows & had taken down my curtains in the process so I slept right beside a window with no trim, No PLASTIC or even curtains! I finally went and purchased DUCKBRAND & for half the cost my plastic has stayed in place! I am 2 weeks I’m so far & not even a sag in the new tape & I got double the tape!

I needed it for kind of a strange application, but it worked great. I have an add on raised toilet seat that keeps sliding off. I used this tape and the seat is secure. It’s bonding plastic to porcelain.

I researched the 3M website to find a 'permanent' double sided adhesive strip. I am using this to adhere my SimpliSafe sensor magnets to metal window frames. The 3M VHB TAPE 4950 is amazing and would recommend this to anyone. As always, had it in 2 days with Amazon Prime

This is high quality tape. I installed this on all of my window rain guards for my car after I lost one driving down the highway. To be fair they were eBay guards so I wasn't expecting five star quality but I did expect them to stay on the car for more than a week (the guards were fine just the tape was sub par) . After ripping off the old tape and installing this VHB tape they are still on my car and show no signs of peeling off or failure after several months of use.If you're looking to mount something for a long time or even permanently this is an excellent choice.If I have any problems I will update this review.
