We bought this to repair leaks inside our tornado shelter. My husband had to cut sheets of thick steel plate and glue them over the existing metal. The glue is the strongest thing he has ever seen and it worked so good, we had to buy more. Great product. We highly recommend.

The 3M adhesive gun worked perfectly. The 200ml of 2 part adhesive flowed and mixed perfectly through one of the provided mixing tube tips. Product is sooo good that it also bonded to my dirty concrete floor. I had to take a chisel and hammer to remove it from the floor. I bonded over the rocker rocker panels and everything is solid. Using a floor jack, I lifted the car using the tip of a bonded rocker panel and everything held perfectly. This is strong stuff. I highly recommend this combination. Thanks

This stuff is just awesome. If you have a restoration project this almost makes having a welder obsolete. My advice is don’t be bashful with it. Let it ooze out because you wants baremetal to be protected and to get proper adhesion you need to make sure you are creating a lap joint with bare metal on both pieces. Also put masking tape on any clamps at contact points and the likes because you don’t want to be grinding off clamps later on. And yeah, you will be. Yeah it is pricey, but the amount they give you goes a long way. Also, lacquer thinner is my go to for clean up. Last piece of advice is plan around using the mixing tips. As in if you have multiple panels to glue, try and set it up for one day. A 6 pack of the tips is over 20 bucks. So yeah, you want to be conservative with the 2 that come with this kit.

This stuff works great like everything else that 3M makes, but man it is expensive. The caulk and the gun are about 6 inches long. It's not a whole lot so keep that in mind. The caulk gun is pretty much useless other than to push the adhesive out. The adhesive really doesn't "flow" like you would expect it to. However, the product works great. The closest thing to welding you can find.

Purchased this item after tons of research and reviewing, I used this to replace a couple of patch panels on a Ford F-250 Bed that were not easy to access above the wheel wells. Instructions are very easy to follow plus I took advice from another reviewer and left the application tip on after use to keep the stuff in the bottles from drying up. Goes on like peanut butter and spreads easily with the use of a plastic spreader, you can also put the stuff on using a glove and smear it where you need it. 90 minutes of workable time, after 4 hours you can unclamp it and leave it alone for 24 hours before messing with your project. Be mindful of the temperature you are working at since it cures much better in warmth than cold, my garage is insulated but cold during the winter so 500 watt shop lights were used during its 24 Hr curing. Overall this stuff is amazing, in my opinion it does not take the place of a good weld/spot welding but does an amazing job for what it is.
