Well made and less expensive than big box store alternatives. Time will tell how well it holds up but given the construction and fit I would be surprised if it does not last.

Direct replacement and easy to swap out with the original filter that came with the shop vac. Also seems to be easier to keep clean vs. the original filter. Because after each use i gently bang these things out inside the trash can. Waterproof or not, I now keep them dry as much as possible. Original filter got wet a few times. Even though I dried it out completely not long after use, lots of filter flaked apart after a few months.

my take the 3000 4000 filter, this one doesnt fit. oh it goes on but there a 1/2 inch gap at the bottom, so it doesnt work
