As with most type product this is a deterrent and not something you want to use as a single personal defense weapon. However, anyone on the receiving end of this beauty is going to have a bad day!The specifics are in the product description so let me give you my spin. A tool does the best job when used for it was designed to do. Let’s look at the three in this 3-1 alarm. It has an ear piercing 130 decibels strong directed siren that will make your hair stand on end! I tested and retested and it is very clear that up close and personal it will be very painful. The unit is charged by a USB-C cable and can maintain standby mode up to a year on a charge. The pepper spray itself will shoot up to 23-30 bursts of spray up to 12 feet. I should make clear this is not just a pepper based spray but a gel and trust me it does stick to skin like molasses, keeping the irritating agent on the attacker’s skin instead of dripping off. The product is refillable. I am going to say incapacitation is not the case for all sprayed so deterrent is a better word. I am not saying incapacitation is an impossibility, I am saying don’t bank your life on it. Spray them and scram. The third and final element is the blinding strobe lights. Strobe lights are commonly used by police and military due to its ability to confuse and hamper vision. The trio are combined in an easy to carry unit that can be attached to a key ring. It is small enough to be held and semi concealed in one hand.I would recommend this to anyone as a personal protection DETERRENT, but not a personal defense weapon because it is not a weapon. Treat it with respect and try it, spray it, because it is not much use if you don’t know how to use it or forget at the critical moment. I would like to see some “Proper Use” videos available from the manufacture. The best personal defense is get away.

At this time, I am giving a one-star rating because there is no option to give zero stars for this item. When the alarm system sounds unexpectedly, it undermines its purpose of providing security and instead triggers unnecessary stress. Purchasing a device that may activate in public spaces without any reason, is inadvisable, as it can create constant concern. Although I attempted to return the device, I was informed that the return period had expired, leaving me with a defective and unusable product. Moreover, I lost the money that could have been used to purchase a reliable and necessary device for protection. Thank you ~

These were Christmas gifts….for my daughter and daughter-in-law. They are hikers and were happy to have one to carry at those times! They say they are easy to use….so I guess I did something right!! Never know with kids, even though they both are in their ‘60’s !!!👍🏻

I bought two.One for my wife,one for my daughter.They both like the pepper spray safety alarm.I tested both two,the bottle can be replaced when used out.The nice price and seller make it more worth the purchase.
