This pen does work wonderfully which is why the 2 stars. The HUGE drawback that I have with it is that it will NOT take 1.75 filament! I bought this so I could use up my fragments from my printer. One would think that most people would want to do the same but if you want to do that DO NOT BUY THIS PEN! If you are ok with using 3.0 filament then yes this is a great pen to buy and use

I've had a chance to use this 3D pen for just a little while. It seems like the filaments get clogged easily. Also, this pen uses the 2.85mm size filament, so if you have a ton of 1.75mm filament (like I do), it won't feed properly. You have to hand push the smaller filament through, which is great if you have 3 hands. I'm not happy about purchasing tons of 2.85mm filament for my limited use of a 3D pen. I may just return it.

I bought this pen specifically for using the copper and wood filaments. I should have done more research, because the wood filament is not available anywhere anymore. It doesn't come in the sample pack with the pen and they don't even sell it direct. The copper, which boasts claims of being able to be polished, requires days in a Tumbler to even get a little bit of shine. Waste of time.As for the plastic: I was aware this filament is a custom large size before purchasing, meaning I could only buy filament from 3doodler (kinda scamy but I get it from a marketing perspective). What I didn't realize was there are only two bags of color options in that size. All other 3doodler filament is too thin. So color options are extremely limited.The only upside to this pen is the removable window. This does make clearing blockages easier, which is helpful because this pen frequently clogs up, usually everytime I switch materials or colors. This benefit however does not justify the high price point.Do yourself a favor and go for the cheaper model.

Real bummer, I returned product, didn't use 1.75 filament. Guess they want you to buy their own filament. And how it says it prints copper, maybe copper infused filament, but that wasn't copper. Didn't use it. I have a 3d printer, with lots of filament invested, went with a pen that can use same filament as my printer. I really wish they would have used industry standard 1.75 mm filament, it was like 3 mm or something crazy. Anyway returned it. Spend enough on printer filament, and got the pen to touch up 3d prints. Plus those little spools that these pens come with, they don't last long. The mynt3d pen I got, it definitely eats filament pretty quick.

I liked -- the ease of use, ergonomic shape, the ability to control the work, change the material types and speed, set your own temperature, and a large set.Disliked -- the power cord, because it is too hard, twists and is not too heat-resistant, the contact of the power cord does not plug into the device completely, the front part of the device could be more closed, because the heat insulation tape is visible.However, it is important to emphasize that the imperfections of the 3Doodler PRO+ do not affect the quality of the created items and minimally affect the ease of use.

I specifically bought this from Amazon.com.au and assumed I would be able to charge it.But it only has a US power plug, so I couldn't charge it, had to go and buy an adapter.I could have bought a cheaper one from amazon.com
