My husband thinks this is the coolest 3D-printed toy we’ve gotten—and we got it for our son! The fact that it’s so realistic, with a full crab body that can go in and out of its shell, really sets it apart from the other 3D-printed animals and fidgets we have. It’s also a nice big size, and the colors of both the crab and shell match the product images exactly.The small magnet that holds the crab to the shell is a thoughtful touch, but it’s not quite strong enough to keep them together as well as my son would like during play. That said, he still really enjoys it and it’s held up well through a family move, long car rides, and more than a few drops along the way.

This purple hermit crab and its matching shell are absolutely adorable and full of charm. I love the concept, and the magnetic connection between the crab and shell is a clever touch—the crab stays securely in place but is easily removable thanks to the small magnets embedded in each piece.Unfortunately, the hermit crab I received had several noticeable printing defects. One of the large claws was pretty mangled, and one of the eyes had separated at the base. There were also a few smaller imperfections throughout. I was able to do some minor repairs with super glue, but it was a bit disappointing to have to fix it right away.That said, the shell came out beautifully—smooth, clean, and well-printed with no visible issues.Overall, I think this is a really creative and fun piece, especially for fans of 3D-printed art or marine-themed collectibles. Just be aware that quality can vary, and some light repairs might be needed.

This 3d printed hermit crab is very nice. The entire piece (crab and shell) are very well printed, high quality, not a rush print job. The piece is highly detailed. All of the articulating features on the crab work perfectly, no need to break anything loose. The magnets in the crab and the shell help to keep the two pieces together while on display. This piece is a very cool addition to my desktop 3d collection. Recommend.

When this arrived, I was surprised to see it's much larger than I expected. I ordered it for my 12-year-old son, who's wanted a pet hermit crab for YEARS... while I know he's not up to the responsibility of a real one, this one is PERFECT. I didn't tell him I ordered it, it would have been a great gift because he loves it! It's well made, no flaws. It doesn't feel cheap or flimsy. The colors are fantastic, it's even prettier in person - shiny, rich, metallic hues (I ordered the red one) it looks awesome. The shell is white and has neat detail from the printing process that makes it look cool as well as realistic.The magnets help keep it in place, that's a smart added feature I did not expect, but my son noticed right away.Overall, we're both very happy with this, zero negatives to report. It's fun, durable, looks cool... made my kid so happy to get and can hold up to him playing with it... It's just an all-around great product, I am SO glad I ordered for him.

I am a fan of 3D printed animal fidgets. At work I am often on the phone, and this keeps my hands busy. This one captivates me. It's so authentic looking and I love the shimmer of orange and yellow colors. The articulation of each joint is fascinating to me. To top it off the hermit crab is incredibly well made. Of course, the colors are amazing, and the joints are solidly connected. There is even a magnet on the crab and in the shell to hold him in place. The shell is also the perfect display stand. I have many 3D printed animals and this hermit crab is my favorite hands down. I highly recommend it for its quality, authenticity, and the fun. The cost is amazing too.

It’s a very pretty fidget. The design is really nice and it’s bigger than I expected. The crab coming out of the shell is a really cool detail and the shell looks really good.Unfortunately, mine broke within 15 minutes of being delivered. I tried to take it out of the shell again to show my son and the eye came right off. It wasn’t handled roughly or anything. It just snapped off. It’s odd because the rest of the toy seems pretty stable. That one eye must have been a manufacturing error or something, I’m assuming.

This 3d printed hermit crab is super cute. You can remove the crab from its shell and it is entirely articulated. Even its claws can open and close. There's magnets on the bottom of the crab and inside the shell to help it stay in place. The print quality is very good and there was only 1 small cosmetic imperfection on one of the eye stalks that you wouldn't notice unless you were looking for it. The bottom of the shell is flat, so it can sit on any surface. It's also quite large, so a good value for the price. Even though I have a 3d printer and I have actually found this print file, it was nice to not have to tie it up for over 24 hours to print all the parts and use all that filament. I would recommend this to any hermit crab lover, or to anyone who just likes playing with 3d printed toys.

Very poor quality print. No sanding, very, very obvious layer lines and gradient failures throughout. Also the magnet holding the crab in the shell? They never glued down the shell's magnet. So it just... came right out, attached to the other magnet still.
