It is smaller than I thought, about half the size of a typical square, making it less handy when marking 4X4 or 6X6 posts. It is coated with an anodized coating (not etched), and while the markings, e.g., measuring markings, are clear when it's new, I am uncertain how long they will last when used regularly over time. The 90-degree leg is attached with two screws allowing one more point of failure if the screws back out. Overall, I am not completely satisfied with this product.

Nice little tool to have around. It did not come with directions! I guess the manufacturer decided if you need directionsyou're probably not smart enough to use it!!! Minnesota Man..

Useful little tool - the second time. The first time, the two sides were not flush to each other, and so it wouldn't draw a straight line around a corner (see picture). I returned it, and they sent me a new one right away. The new one fit together like it was supposed to.

This is a great little square. I use this in my shop when making children’s rocking chairs. The size is about perfect to help make sure pieces are square when gluing up parts without being too large and cumbersome. In some reviews there were some comments about accuracy, I have not found any issues with mine.

The two pieces will not line up and are not adjustable. The L shape is approximately 1/16" off from the triangular piece, defeating the purpose of the square.

I bought this for my job since 90% of my job is marking up and drilling holes and also scribing lines to fab/assemble frames to be welded. light weight and very accurate. if you are too strong you will push, the ruler very slightly and line will be curved. try to avoid dropping. can easily be file down even after a few drops. Still very accurate and reliable.

I received this as a gift as it was on my “wish list”. Seems sturdy enough but the set screw holes do NOT allow for this to be square when put together because they don’t line up. It’s at least a millimeter off from being perfect.**Update**I was contacted by the seller and they immediately sent me a replacement at no cost to me. This one was perfectly square and I've used it several times already. Very good customer service and I'm very satisfied with this product. I would highly recommend this to any woodworker/hobbyist!
