The 3B Scientific U56001 vibration generator creates mechanical waves with a frequency up to 20kHz to demonstrate oscillation and resonance. It has a 4mm socket in the top and includes a mounting pin for attaching accessories (sold separately). It includes a holder for a stand rod (sold separately) to demonstrate standing waves. The plastic housing provides durability.

Drove it with a 20 Hz wave, and within seconds instead of the fuse burning, the driver did. No clearer indication of incompetent engineering. Do not buy.

Le generateur de fonction n'est pas fournit et doit etre achete separement. Le plateau n'est pas tout a fait droit et aucune figure ne peuvent etre genere. Ne surtout pas acheter cet appareil qui est incomplet et qui ne marche presque pas.

What do you do with a box without any power cable that can be attached to it? If it is an accessory then should be clearly noted . What a waste of time.

I bought this for a Chaldni demonstration. There isn't a way to generate enough vibration on the plate to actually create patterns. The salt barely moved. Don't waste your money on a tiny speaker with a rod attached to it. Shameful that they charge so much for this.

200$ pos. I purchased this for use in my physics class from amazon.The rod that holds the string broke on day 1 making it useless. Apparently it's held by a plastic screw. So I opened the case to see if I could trouble shoot. When I did I got even more furious. They charge 200$ for a 4 inch speaker with a rod attached to it.
