I used it to add additional wiring to my CNC router, to permanently control an external relay for the router and dust extractor via the built-in controller.Length adjusts easily, the plastic is soft enough to drill holes for custom mounting needs, and it flexes smoothly.

The carrier is made of segments of snapped together plastic. After a setting everything up and putting it through some trial runs, the sections at the very end snapped and separated. The wire in the carrier was thinner stranded wire and shouldn't have caused an issue. Our solution was to use a large zip tie to hold the last segment together to avoid further unraveling. I wouldn't recommend this for equipment that is in a high paced manufacturing environment.

Building my own CNC router, used this as the cable way to cover a little over half a sheet of plywood. Still in the testing phase of the build but this worked fine...no hangups, good wire control, no kinks...all is good.

This is a nice drag chain that is thick enough to provide good protection to the enclosed cables but the articulation is such that it allows fluid movement during operation. One gripe is the lack of instructions for disassembly (only ones I saw was a couple images on the product page) because I am someone prone to breaking things if I don't follow the instructions. It can be disassembled and added on to with some practice, but each time I did it I felt like the locking tines were going to break. So far the drag strip is holding up, so I'm overall satisfied with this item and would rate it at a solid 4-stars.

Honestly, i was expecting the walls of this drag chain to be extremely thin, and flexible. but to my great surprise it was not. the drag chain is very sturdy, supports it's own weight easily, as well as the cables put into it. The only down side for me, was one of the clips was broken upon arrival, but it's not really a big deal, i can just 3d print a replacement.

So I'm not sure why they list this drag chain as 10x20Width 13.7mmHeight 10.4mmInternal 7mm x 7mmExternal Diameter 89mmEach end has a double hole mount anchor. The plastic is well formed with kink free movement. This chain is well suited for smaller diameter wire guiding. With this being such a small chain the wire has to be fished in from one end to another as there is no removable covers on either side. With a bit of effort and a jewelers fine flat blade screwdriver it is possible to shorten the chain and remove links. I am pleased with the overall quality and the price is fair.

These chains are indispensable where bundles of cable and wires are moving around. In the past I actually 3D printed enough links to make a few feet of rather ugly drag chain for a laser engraver. The page description is mixed up. It offered 10x10 and 10x20, at different prices. But the descriptions say otherwise. Sellers are always correcting and updating descriptions on new items, so just be warned.I ended up with a 7mm x 7mm (interior) chain. Good quality. It is quite suitable for whatever will fit in there. The end links are included. The (outside) bend radius is less than an inch. Asking price was $11.99 for this "10x20".If you're always worried about wiring getting caught in the machinery, and there's wires hanging all over the place, this stuff is probably for you.
