Installation Precautions
- Shower water guard cannot bend freely. Can only be installed in a straight line.
- At the corners, cut at a 45-degree angle.
- After receiving the shower water dam strip product, please put it on the floor for 24 hours to restore it to its original state.
How to use:
- Wipe off the water on the ground, keep it dry and dusty
- Determining the position of the water retaining strip and mark it with a pen on the ground.
- Remove the adhesive and install the water barrier in the marked position.
- Seal the rubber strip at the position where the two ends of the water retaining strip are in contact with the wall.
- Apply glue on both sides of the water stopper and apply evenly.
- Allow to dry and no contact with water in at least 24 hours.

I wanted to like this for our shower but would not get it again, Great concept but they need to use 3M style tape on it as the adhesives is not that great, just my option. What is the point of getting a nice trim for the shower if they still recommend you glue the edge when done?

I have a frameless shower by Fleurco and I had a lot of problems with leaks when water ran on the wall and out of the cabin. It took me less than 5 min (including silicone caulk on the edges) to install it. The adhesive is very strong and holds the barrier on the vertical wall.

Not the greatest sticking

Our shower door started leaking and it was the original water diverter on the bottom of the swinging door which had cracked (it was made of hard plastic) after 13 years and starting leaking. It was impossible to replace with an original so we tried this and are very pleased with its performance. It diverts all the water running down the shower door back into the shower instead of running down and then outside the shower as was occurring with the broken one.

It’s a very sticky glue that works. Makes my finish look great. I did also caulk the top and bottom with a water tight white caulking too. My only grip was that the scissors I used to cut the caulk was not sharp and messed up my corner edge.
