I got the 1/4 x 4. Keep in mind drywall is typically only 3.5 inches deep, max. So 4 inches may be too long, unless your affixing something that's at least 1/2 inch thick. You can always shorten these, though, trim them down with a metal cutter. They're not stainless steel, but they do have a zinc coating and should be fine for interior use. They are not for exterior use or for environments with high humidity. The machining on these is ok. I did find a few metal splinters among the threads, so be careful (a good general practice when dealing with any metal fasteners, regardless of brand). For reference,3/16 toggle generally support 20-30 pounds1/4 toggle generally supports 40-50 pounds3/8 toggle generally supports 50-100 poundsRemember, the larger the toggle, the larger the hole you have to drill in your drywall. The 3/8 are overkill for most residential applications. Also remember, it's always better to fix to at least one stud when possible.

Functionally they are okay. Just be careful not to cut your hands with sharp edges when handling the bolts.

These toggle bolts are pretty much exactly what you get when you buy from the hardware store or certain big-brands. They all came pre-assembled, and the bolts are all cut well and the toggles really look exactly as you'd expect. I got the 3/8" ones, and they are definitely heavy-duty. At $1 each, they're a great value! If you can wait for shipping, these will save you a bit over the hardware store cost.

Let me tell you, these toggle bolts do the job for mounting. They hold the weight too. But my poor hands was covered in knicks and cuts from the roughly machined metal. You get what you pay for. If you're keen to wear gloves while installing these, you'll be just fine. Just keep that in mind.

These toggle bolts are beefy. I thought I needed the 3/8-inch bolts, but they are huge. I really think they will hold anything I need to mount. They are interior grade, but as good as any I have used in the past. I may have to stock up on some other sizes to have on hand for the next project.
