In my case with the copper nickel line I was using I had to use my lathe to take 0.010” off the spacers used for this tool. After that, it would straighten the roll pretty good. I wish I would of went with a higher dollar straightener that did multiple size tubing.

Not as tight fitting as I would like but definitely easy to use. Will require a little hand work to get the lines perfectly straight. Good value for the $$

Used this on aluminum, standard steel and stainless steel. The aluminum and metal tubes were made straight with no problem. The stainless steel straightened out somewhat because it still had a curvature in it. The SS tubing had to be carefully bent straight and the tool run over it again.

I got this to replace a ~10 year old one that went missing. And although this is new, the tech is the same. Outcome is about the same as well. You can run the tubing through this a few times if you want to try to get as straight as possible. But I've just come to accept that some tubing just straightens out better than others. Whatever caused it, whether because it was coiled or just handled wrong, none of that matters. Some tubing just doesn't want to get straightened. And this tool doesn't change that. It works fine and does well. While some tubes seem to get straight, others don't.So, the tool works fine. Gets the job done.

Running tube for brakes or fuel line always bugged me because you could only get it fairly straight. Bulk tube come coiled and removing the coil bend was always a PITA. This thing makes is super easy. Obviously you need to straighten the tube before flaring it if you're doing brake lines. It sure makes things look pro af.

Did you just buy a roll of coiled 3/16" brake tubing and now you find yourself frustrated that no matter what you do it isn't perfectly straight? This simple device will solve your problems.Tubing straighteners have been around forever, and in the past they have been quite spendy. This one is a reasonable price, portable and works great. 16 metal rollers surround the tube and you simple run it back and forth on the tubing by hand to straighten it out. I was curious if the metal rollers might mar the tube (I use nicopp generally), but I see no evidence of damage. Works great and very quickly!Recommended!
