I use this for cutting mortises in my plunge router. It cuts beautifully and the added length means I can cut a 2" deep mortise with a few passes. It is very sharp and makes exceptionally smooth cuts. The spiral pulls the wood chips out well so you can see what you're doing. Highly recommended!

So this drill bit is everything you'd want and more, but its not for drilling holes exactly although technically you can use it for that. This is best suited for cuts that are partial such as on a cabinet whenever you trying to overlap 2 wooden pieces either with scews, bolts, or any other thing used to piece two pieces together. The bit itself is REAL sturdy and thick allowing you to drill through even the thickest of woods with ease. The thick bit is more efficient with a bigger drill, however, as the bits thickness may not fit in the smaller, portable drills. I had one that was battery powered and it didn't fit so read the dimensions first before buying please. Other than that, this bit is tremendously versatile in many situations no doubt.

ZahyoX 3/8” Router BitThis bit is sold for use in CNC routers, but I’ve found it works very well in plain old milling machines when working with plastics like Delrin. This is the first bit from ZahyoX that I’ve used so I looked at it very carefully. One of the lessons I learned early on was that using cheap tooling is always a mistake. The bit comes packaged in a nice plastic case that protects the bit. It is clean and looks very well made. I looked at the bit edges using my stereo microscope and they are very clean and sharp. I always test new tooling on scrap material and this bit produced very clean cuts. There’s not really a lot you can say about a cutter other than it cuts well or it doesn’t. This one cuts very well. I can’t speak to its durability until I’ve used it for a while, but I expect it’s going to do very well.

I purchased these as a set so I could practice on my CNC more and not have to worry about possibly breaking or wearing out a good bit. I have to say that these are a really good buy. They have held up well and I was actually using them in projects. I am not disappointed in the quality. I will purchase again and do recommend!

I have a CNC machine and I use this bit for cutting plywood. It works great and leaves a nice finish. I have used it for a few projects now and it is still sharp. I would recommend this bit to anyone.

Works well as a plunge bit. Bought a second size after using the first one.

Been very happy with this bit. I am cutting hardwood trays and do 1" deep pockets in a single pass (ramping down of course) with 20% step over. The bit doesn't even struggle. I have 10 hours on it now and it almost looks new.I recently purchased a second as I know it will wear out but I hope to get 20-30hours of total use out of it.
