Very convenient tool. Feels substantial yet well balanced, perfect for getting into tight places. Tool had decent battery life and is capable of applying higher torque than most other powered ratchets. Handy light to illuminate working area. Would definitely recommend it for the money.

I purchased this being much less than some high priced brands to install my lift on my truck. This ratchet is awesome! Long battery life, great torque, huge time saver from manual ratchet and best of all great price. I want to now buy the 1/4 inch set. I would highly recommend buying this tool.

For the price this is good quality 12V ratchet for the home garage mechanic. It does the job and has decent power. The sockets that came with it are questionable. Haven’t used them enough to see how long they will last. That’s the only negative right now I have with this.

I am really disappointed as i have now tried 3 of these cordless ratchets and all 3 have gone back. It's a real shame because I really like the feel of it and the power is good in my opinion. I compare the power as quite good against my Craftsman pro air ratchet that I've had for many years, which is a beast, and my new popular red 2557 with 3.0ah battery, which I'm not overly impressed with for power. It just stops or won't turn on if it's too tight to break loose, but I knew the 55 ft lb rating before I bought it, so really no surprises there, I just needed something to use on the interiors that won't blow air allover. So back to the alloypower. Nice torque, decent battery life, comes with the 2 batteries and charger, didn't use the sockets, which don't fit in the case very well and scattered about, but I didn't buy them counting on the tools, just the ratchet. The 1st one I bought, when testing the bare tool at 1/3 speed, it skips in the same exact spot every single revolution about 2-3 skips. Never used it. I ordered a replacement and returned it.The 2nd one at first did not skip, but after 3-4 light duty uses(hose clamps and 1/4-20 fasteners with 7/16 heads, it started skipping like 1st one did. I didn't use this one enough to deplete the battery.Since I really like the tool, I order yet another replacement and return the 2nd one. When I received the 3rd one, straight out of the box I see this touch up paint covering scratches or marks from repairs, either way it's like used or refurbished and it also skips in the same place every revolution, just like the others.Basically it seems the teeth on the gear is stripping or wearing down, like an inferior metal, which is really the only explanation for why it skips imo, so with longevity heavily in question here, it's 3 strikes and you're out unfortunately for me.If there was some type of repair part I knew positively would work, I would almost buck up for it but on a brand new tool?, goes against my nature as a matter of principle no matter how much I like the ratchet. If perhaps there was some reassurance I had by an update or warranty I might revisit the idea but for now it's a no go.A real bummer for me honestly.
