This is some heavy duty chain that's really well made and looks really nice. The welds are well done on all the links, the hooks are sturdy and well done, and it can really hold a lot of weight. I haven't used it to secure anywhere close to its full 12k limit, but I honestly don't doubt it will hold that much weight and more. It's just great chain and at the price it's offered, it's an unbeatable value.

Nice set of 3/8 chain. The 20ft length is just about right and has worked great for pulling shrubs and logs. The chain is grade 80, with grade 70 hooks. Like others have mentioned, not all links are stamped so I probably wouldn't use on the highway for hauling but these work great around the property. The description even mentions use for farm or construction. They are coated so hopefully they hold up well over time.

I love these chains. I have been using them for a few months and they have held up well. They are well constructed and are very strong. So far I am happy with their functionality and will definitely be buying more once the need arrises.

This is a nice chain, and it seems well made, but its fairly expensive compared to similar ones from Tractor Supply or the home centers

I have a Case 50 HP tractor that I occasionally haul around on a 16 ft trailer. I use this chain to bind the tractor down (it takes two chains to properly bind the tractor down). The chain is well made with no rough spots. The coating is uniform and pretty shiny; I know from experience that the finish will dull somewhat but ill remain rust resistant. The description says the chain weighs 30 pounds; I measured it at 34 pounds including the 2 hooks. Overall, a well made quality chain.

Grade 80 (G80) is a high-strength alloy steel chain commonly used for lifting, e.g., chain slings. The G70 hooks are a medium-strength binding (transport) grade, which is what I'll be using this chain for. The retail price on Amazon for this 1/2" chain at less than $7.00 per foot is very competitive with the big box stores and other vendors as well.

So far, this chain has not disappointed.I use it for tree felling, as I trust chain far better than rope to keep trees from "swinging/falling" the wrong way. Doesn't stretch & is more predictable & controllable as a result. While I have no way to accurate test the capacity, it's shown no sign of deformity or failure yet.If you're looking for a VERY heavy chain, this is a great choice, as I've seen no reason to suggest otherwise. Mine has done everything I've asked of it w/o disappointment.Would definitely recommend & would purchase this one again if/when another need arises.
