These star lock washers are used to attach automotive seat track covers as well as other uses. The originals are impossible to remove without damage. This assortment has a good quantity of the seven sizes that fit most common shaft sizes. I purchased the assortment as I had no information on the size of the original item. through trial and error I was able to determine the size I needed. I used a socket and an extension to position/hold the washer over the bolt shaft and tapped the socket extension lightly with a hammer to position lock washer correctly. The plastic seat track cover snapped into place with firm hand pressure, just like from the factory.
