There weren't many reviews when I purchased this so I was hesitant! But I will say I'm glad I bought it! It works very well! I've used it indoors for multiple jobs..ie chairrail, stair railings, flooring alignment and cabinet installation. It is really close to level if it's not perfect! I wouldn't say it's not "surgical precision", but works very very well! I haven't used it out side yet as I'm still trying to find a good compatible laser finder for it. I wish this company made one for it but they don't! I would definitely recommend this laser and especially for the price!

Happy with this level. One thing that I had to contend with is the tripod head would adjust to 90 degree horizontally causing the level to flicker for not sitting 90 degrees or close to that. Diagnosed it and found out the tripod head and tripod head base plates adjoining holes where not drilled true to each other pieces causing a bind. As a result, the tripod head would sit at about 80-85 degrees instead of at 90 and the laser light to flicker. Wonder if other purchasers of this units have had the same issue.

The only complaint I have is this is powered with disposable batteries instead of rechargeable battery. The positive is it does come with the 4 AA batteries required and very easy to operate. It’s spot on accurate and compact for storage.

Great device for a lower price than the big brands. It's comes out level and plumb, I checked. As long as there isn't any big impact on it to shake/knock if off, the magnetic holder works well. You can hang it off any metal in the wall (I used it on drywall corner bead off a ceiling beam, and on one of the metal posts of a metal shelving unit).The included tripod is fine. It can expand to a few feet tall. If you are going to use this professionally, get a proper expanding pole to hold the laser level at any height without fuss.The light is very easy to see indoors. I did not use it outdoors.
