These lamps have a short life. I spent about four sessions, three hours each. They have a stroboscopic problem. They don't light up properly

Easy to use and good brightness. Excellent value for the price!I was worried that the durability and brightness would be an issue because they were priced so much lower than similar products. As a part time DJ and KJ, these lights are perfect!

This pack is an okay LED par starter set, I like that the lights came in a pack so you have 4 lights that are the same. This makes doing basic DMX programming a good bit easier. However, I prefer LED pars with individually addressed LEDs. This unit has permanent colors and it fades between the lights for different color effects. This works fine for wall washes, but doesn't look as good on a light tree.

It is not fair to compare this DMX controlled light to other DMX lights. I've used similar lights costing 10 times as much, and you can't compare this light to those. They have very different purposes, different expectations, and different prices. With that in mind...I rate this light a 5 stars out of 5. It is perfect for fancy lighting for a kids room, a man cave, or an indoor holiday decoration. Perfect for something you do at home, where it will be carefully used and not abused. Despite what the product description says, this is exactly what I would expect these lights to be used for and it seems perfect for it.These lights feel cheep. They are very light. The metal brackets are very thin. The thumb-screws that connect the brackets to the lights are very flimsy. And the power cord is very thin. This is perfectly acceptable for use at home, but I would never use these lights for anything where I am making money with them. For example, I would never use these for a DJ, for a wedding, on a stage. The lights will not withstand the abuse those applications would give it, and I would not risk a job/gig/paycheck on the ruggedness or reliability of these lights— for those applications it is appropriate to spend 4 to 10 times the cost of these. The remote control is not intuitive. Expect to read the manual several times, and still not know how it operates. I ended up just mashing buttons until it did what I want. Ultimately I will be controlling these with DMX, so the remote control isn't that important. These lights project a fairly tight spot, not a flood. At 15 feet away, the spot is about 2 or 3 feet in diameter. At that distance, the RGB color mixing is nice and even. At less than 5 feet the color mixing is less complete but no worse than most other lights. In conclusion: Use these for cool projects at home, and they get 5 stars out of 5 for that. They are not professional quality DMX lights, but you shouldn't expect that for this price point.

The lights themselves put off very bright, and good light. Slam dunk there, but here is my warning to future buyers. If you need to control these via DMX in 3 channel mode (RGB) there doesn't appear to be an ability to set them up with anything other then 7 channel mode. With channel 1 being brightness followed by RGB. So if you use 3 channel lighting controllers these probably won't work for you as the brightness channel still needs to have a set value including the RGB channels. If I'm incorrect, someone please let me know, but I went through everything in the menus and the entire programming manual comes on a single small piece of paper.
