I still can't believe I have customers that still have floppy drives. And they are dirty and full of dust. After blowing out the dust I use this to clean the heads. Saves my service tool floppy copies from scratches, and allows them to be read and written to without error. Simple to use.

A rip off by Cables Unlimited, in my opinion.. What I received was the much less expensive cleaner by aidata, that is not the product pictured. The aidata cleaner, was also available on Amazon at a much lower price. The aidata cleaner works, though I am skeptical that drives in ordinary use need weekly cleaning. The instructions state that when the cleaning cartridge pad becomes discolored, to remove it from the diskette and insert a new pad. There are no spare pads and the diskette is permanently sealed..

Cleaning kit came as shown and arrived even a little early. Have a very old embroidery machine that takes floppies and I finally found this kit to clean the floppy drive. Works great!

It's your basic floppy head cleaning kit, what can I say? Seems to get the job done as it worked on an old floppy drive in an ancient computer I use at work. Price is right. If you fiddle with the packaging, and don't mess it up when you first open it, the package can be securely reclosed. This allows keeping the faux floppy and cleaning solution together.

I have a very aged IBM Model 25 from the mid-1980s I use with an old EPROM burner and the floppy finally started giving up the ghost. Picked up this cleaner and it worked like a champ on the 30 year old drive. Works just like new again. I'm very pleased. If you are having trouble getting a drive to write or format floppies reliably give this a try. Better than trying to hunt down a new or used floppy, especially proprietary floppies in old BTO machines like mine.
