I'm not sure what these are really called but I would not call them washers. I'd call them a nut substatute for lack of a better or correct name. You push them onto a rod and they won't come back off. Yeah, not what I really wanted which was an actual internal tooth star washer.

When I ordered these I must have been focused on the term Lock washers in the title, but that’s not what these are at all. The other terms fit these better - Push On Retainers, Fasteners, Speed Clips. You find these most often in automotive applications. Since I don’t work on my vehicles nearly as much as I used to, I won’t have much use for these.They are well made, have a solid anti rust coating and come in sizes that should suffice for most needs.What I’ve learned from experience, if you need to remove these don’t waste your time trying to unscrew it or twist it off, just insert a small flathead screwdriver and break it off, or use needle nose plyers to tear it off.The case is nice but I’m not sure why they just included the label to be applied and didn’t apply it themselves.

Quality pieces. Very durable. Wasn't sure which size I would need for an odd repair, so was pleased with the minor graduated increase between sizes in this assortment. Found the perfect fit from the kit, and with this design, it was just flexible enough to go on, then strong enough to lock in place and hold fast without any other fastener applied over it.Only gripe is that the plastic container arrived with a broken latch. Of course, I didn't get these for the latch, and the clips are ideal for the task I had in mind, but with the way the container latch is designed, this will be a recurring problem. Just don't drop em unless you love to sort hundreds of slightly different things. Good product. Great value.

I like the large selection of sizes in the pack.I was apprehensive since the sizes listed are all metric, but with the design of internal tooth lock washers and the way they are installed, they will also fit standard sized bold as well.I have always spent a lot of time carefully removing old lock washers of this type so as not to break them so I could reuse them - but now I have replacements on hand so I don't have to worry as much
