Use in garage for cleaning everything. quiet and no problems, using simple green, and serves as a hand washing station. for carb cleaning, am using carb spray, and then finish in the parts washer.

I ordered this for my husband because he’s impossible to buy for and I have no idea what he would use/need. I ran across this and he was tickled with it. Said it was practical, perfect size for his shop and a reasonable price.

Let's face it. Would I love to have a huge shop with tons of space? Of course, but like a lot of people I have limited room in my garage, that sometimes identifies as a shop. This portable parts washer is a perfect solution. It large enough to handle what I will be working with, but small enough that with the lid closed I can slide it onto a shelf until I need it. Not wanting to make a mess and splash everywhere, I did opt to order a flow through parts washer brush to attach to the spout coming off of the pump. I filled mine with a gallon of Oil Eater and two gallons of water, as you are not supposed to use solvent type cleaners in this unit. The tray that sits down in the tub keeps large debris from entering the solvent and potentially jamming up the pump. This is a good set up for the money. If you don't have room for a free standing washer, get the "desktop" model.
