Worked well to tap in a star pattern on wood. Then I used my dremmel tool to carve it out from there.

This stamp worked great for stamping out leather disks with a star as small Christmas ornaments. The only reason this is not receiving five stars as that the stem is very narrow - with such a large stamp (3/4") a wider stem spreads out the force of impact more evenly. Great product and would recommend to others.
