The diameter of the pumps inlet and outlet circumferences seemed a little smaller then the Whirlpool OEM part.. after installing it it leaked with the original clamps.. had to purchase new clamps to tighten on hoses to stop leak

This pump works perfectly as a replacement for my Whirlpool washer. The fit was great, and the installation was straightforward. However, one important tip—when attaching the hoses, make sure you push them on all the way before clamping. If they’re not fully seated, you might get leaks. Once installed correctly, the pump runs smoothly, and my washer drains like new again. Highly recommend!

I bought this pump since the original pump was leaking from the input shaft. It was leaving a puddle of water after each load. This replacement took me less then 20 mins to install from the bottom of the machine using a YouTube video for guidance. Working great and no leaks so far!

This is a very easy part to replace. The old water pump has numbers printed on them. I used these numbers to order the correct pump. However it turned out we had a leaking hose that was rubbing against a metal edge bracket. Now I have an old spare pump. At least the washer is working again. $16.00 for a diy repair still a good value.

I had trouble getting the hoses to seal, probably their age, nothing to do with the part. Once sealed everything is honkey-dory. Hope to get another 30 years of service out of this washer.
