The insulation was super easy and it certainly kept the animals away from my tomatoes, be careful though cause it'll bite you just as fast as some animal.

I used Polywire to create an effective electric fence boundary to protect sub irrigated tote container vegetable gardens from varmints such as squiddles (squirrels) , chipmunks and even slugs. I used this in conjunction with a fence charger and custom designed wire supports that bolt to the containers and space the wires at about 1/5 inch intervals. I used four loops around the containers to build the fence, alternating the polarity of the power source on each loop.We have a bumper crop of chipmunks this year and the little trouble makers were already starting to nibble on my "toe may toes". So this wire product was a crucial ingredient needed for garden warfare countermeasures. So far, after a few weeks I have detected no incursions or damage to the fruits of labor.The product itself seems to be well made and durable, a nylon rope with metallic wire woven into the nylon that ensures conductivity. Worked well for my application. I recommend.
